PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - SECOND SHIFT
This production floor hands-on position consists of directing and coordinating production personnel in the operation of production lines to produce quality products in an efficient manner according to the production plan. Train and coach Line Leaders. Take a lead role in production safety, quality and continuous improvement.
This position requires 2 to 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience preferably in a liquid filling capacity. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and light mechanical ability. Associate Degree in Supervisory Management a plus. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles desirable.

BLENDER HELPER – SECOND SHIFT
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting the Blenders in the manufacturing of high-quality intermediates and bulk products. Understand the operation, methods, and all techniques used in the manufacture of chemical products. Sanitize and assist in preparations for product making. Wear provided safety equipment, i.e., dust mask, respirators, gloves, etc., when handling raw materials in areas subject to odors, fumes and high temperatures. Follow established safety procedures and exercise good safety practices to prevent accidents to self, others and facilities. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly fashion. Handle all chemicals in accordance with State and local regulations. Handle chemical spills and clean-up using proper safety equipment and materials per MSDS or Emergency Coordinator’s instructions per regulations.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of a High School degree. Previous blending or factory experience very helpful. Must be detail oriented and organized. Must have good basic math ability. Must have ability to wear PPE as required. We are required to conduct a criminal background check with favorable results. Must be able to read, write and understand basic English.

PLASTIC ASSISTANT LEADER - THIRD SHIFT (6pm-6am)
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Blending and batching of raw materials for bottle production requirements, i.e., resins, colors, regrinds.

Assist with machine set-ups/wash-outs during production changeovers.
-
Accurately report shift production to supervisor.
-
Handling cases/drums that may involve heavy lifting.
-
Warehouse finished production in a neat and orderly manner.
-
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
-
Follow established safety procedures and exercise good safety practices. Report any unsafe situations immediately.

Execute special assignments as assigned by the Plastics Supervisor, i.e, grind bottles, collect garbage, trim bottles, assemble cartons, relieve plastics production employees during scheduled breaks. Perform duties of shift supervisor in their absence.

Assemble empty cartons to maintain supply for production requirements.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Plastics Manager.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment helpful with mechanical ability. Must have forklift experience. Good communication ability. High school diploma.
