PRODUCTION COORDINATOR - 2nd SHIFT
This hands-on position consists of directing and coordinating production personnel in the operation of production lines to produce quality products in an efficient manner according to the production plan. Train and coach Line Leaders. Take a lead role in production safety, quality and continuous improvement.

This position requires 2 to 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience, preferably in a liquid filling capacity. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and light mechanical ability. Associate degree in Supervisory Management a plus. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles desirable.

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
Coordinate, administer and implement the Manufacturing Engineering functions to ensure cost reductions, product/process improvements and controls, plant layout, workflow analysis, equipment justification and purchase, tooling requirements and labor standards.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of FDA and cGMP.
  • 5-10 years of experience in related field.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the company in support of job functions.
  • Multiple task management ability.
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong computer skills.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Participate in establishing labor standards and costs.
  • Initiate and implement process improvements.
  • Participate in new product lines to assist in design for cost effectiveness.
  • Evaluate labor efficiency and variances; advise manager on appropriate action.
  • Evaluate and develop efficient methods and standards for indirect labor.
  • Prepare layouts to provide for efficient plant operation and material flow.
  • Remain alert to any standards problems, including improper administration, and keep management duly advised.
  • Interface with vendors and outside sales personnel to evaluate, cost estimate and select purchase parts.
  • Responsible for implementation of factory process and product changes.
  • Responsible for procedures, processes, methods, tools and fixtures that assures product quality, employee safety and increased productivity.
  • Manage manufacturing cost estimates for new and existing product.
  • Responsible for plant equipment justification and procurement.
  • Maintain compliance to the quality and safety systems in manufacturing.
  • Administer company policies and procedures.
  • Train, coach and mentor departmental and line personnel.
  • Oversee maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct special studies of production operations as required.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
